Glamour Girls

Oh I do love me a bit of irony in the evening.

Matchy-matchy tail swish
I quite possibly had one of the most unglamorous evenings a gal can have when it comes the the haute couture lifestyle that accompanies horses.

Nasty flies - poor ponies
I spent a good hour picking pony poop, placing it in a wheelbarrow and whisking it to the corner of the field and out of the precious ponies' way.

The things we do for our horses!

I could've ridden & lunged like I'd planned to do yesterday but ended up aborting due to rainfall all afternoon.

Nancy wanted her close up
Living out 24/7 + rain = no saddle time for moi.

As this evening was dry I decided I'd best take advantage and attempt some paddock maintenance, which I am hoping I can continue over the weekend *fingers crossed*

I'm so glamorous
Now that I have written enough gibberish without actually saying anything, so I'll shut up.

    1. We had plenty rain this week which makes me happy-sad. Glad cos it means grass can grow (huge growth since I swapped their grazing sides of my makeshift paddock divide) but then sad cos rain = wet ponies & even less saddle time for me.
      But c'est la vie.
They are happy & healthy so i am happy too - i shouldn't be complaining when so many others can't ride for worst reasons than that

  4. It's funny how riding is known for it's prestige, as no one ever really relates prestige to dirt. And we are always covered in dirt, hair, and things I don't even want to know about. I'm sorry the rain messed up your riding time!

    1. Innorite?!
No biggie on rain & schedules being knocked off whack. My main goal for August is to take ONE lesson - everything else will be a bonus if achieved ☺

    1. You're very kind, but as you can see from my hands they were filthy!
Although my hands were like that after some proper scratching for my girls to get as many itches as i could for them
